Meeting Place & Kids Club Centre

All class and private lessons for both skiing and snowboarding are conducted from the NISS meeting places located behind the Kogen Hotel at the bottom of the King Lift #1 A & B, or at the front of the new Hanazono 308 Day Centre.

We kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of your lesson.

Niseko is home to some of the most consistent powder snowfalls and powder skiing in the world. A typical day in Niseko may see you floating your way through waist deep perfect powder for 1,000 vertical metres. This is an exhilarating experience that can often have powder whistling past your ears and bellowing over your head so that all you can see is white; we call this state “The White Room”.

NISS offers professional guiding into the “White Room”, in areas both within and beyond the boundaries of the Niseko Ski resort. Given the often extraordinary snow situation in Niseko, it is not uncommon for your “powder” lessons to begin at the same time as you are learning snowplough turns for the first time. With boot high powder, often just off the groomed runs, Niseko offers the perfect learning environment to take that first or next step in your powder skiing or riding experience.

The opportunities for a perfect powder progression are endless and with the potential to be skiing or riding bottomless powder, all day, all week, Niseko and the Niseko International Snowsports School has the right program to suit your level right through to those who simply need an experienced local to find the best snow.
